Getting a bit more adventurous – allergy friendly adult food
Bubba is still so little – only three. I have mostly focused my cooking and recipe hunting on safe snacks and kid-friendly foods. But eventually we’re supposed to expand those little toddler palates, right? My first attempt will be from the cookbook Allergy-Free and Easy Cooking: 30-Minute Meals without Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, Eggs, Soy, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Fish, Shellfish, and Sesame. So on tonight’s menu will be the Hearty Italian Soup. Wish us luck!
If she doesn’t go for the soup (we’ll have no problem eating it all ourselves!) I can at least fill her belly with some homemade bread. Today was also my first foray into bread making. We made a basic white loaf this morning and it disappeared. So I’m going to try an Italian Herb loaf for dinner.
